Keeping quality at the highest levels whilst steadily increasing references is not a simple goal. Our company was founded in 1978 in the province of Cuneo, and has grown over the years working with seasonal fruit. The F.A.R. (Frutticoltori Associati Rossana – Rossana Associated Fruit Growers), better known as Rogelfrut, is the result of an extraordinary journey that has transformed a small local organisation into an international company and market leader.

Initially, processing was related to local products such as apples, pears, peaches and apricots. Afterwards, given the evolution of the market, production of purées took over.

With impressive volumes (in the last ten years turnover has reached 30 million), ice cream makers and pastry chefs who know the raw materials inside out have rewarded the business choices of promoting excellence and quality.

Nowadays the highest volumes come from the processing of IQF (Individual Quick Freezing) fruit and from purées, used in ice-cream laboratories and bakeries.

Extensive production within the context of constant growth: today the company has approximately 100 employees who process 12000 tonnes of fruit every year.

The main production site in Rossana is also supported by cold stores in the neighbouring areas, holding 10,000 pallets at -20°C. This means that today the company stocks approximately 7,000 tonnes of frozen product, intended for Italy and abroad. Moreover, there are warehouses in Germany and France that allow for distribution of the product locally, also ensuring the best possible service abroad.

The secret of this success lies clearly in the quality: Rogelfrut has the BRC Global Standard for Food Safety, Kosher Certification, Organic certification and FDA authorisation, essential for the United States.

A strong passion in a not so easy context, where the raw material is a perishable good that requires special care. In addition to select local producers, for some time Rogelfrut has also been successfully exploring the world of exotic fruits.
